We stock Go-Karts from 136cc on up. 4-stroke models. As of December 2012, we are now proudly presenting American Sportworks Gokarts. We are an authorized service center for American Sportworks (ASW) Go-karts and UTVs. We service what we sell and stock 1000's of parts for the do-it-yourself customers. Locally owned and operated in Duson, Louisiana.
These American Sportworks Gokarts are not the cheapy ones you are accustomed to seeing, whether it be Trailmaster, Baja, or Hammerhead. AMERICAN SPORTSWORKS has been in business since 1959 with a proven track record for product reliability and warranty coverage. Ask our competitor's just how long have their companies been in business supplying them Go-karts.

The Trailmaster (Our Competitor)--This is a cheesy little unit. Many kindergartern colors to choose from with a distinct kindergarten charm. Check the chain. Resembles a small two-stroke chain. Stock up on them as you will be replacing them often. Look at all the little electrical gimmicks. Check the lights--plastic, cheap, breaks often. More stuff to go wrong. Let's face it--kids are klds. They will be rough with recreational vehicles so get something that is rugged and will last. Also look just how small they are. Your child will outgrow them within a year. The ground clearance is null and it will hit even a small hill of dirtbike. Look at the tires, small, inferior tires. Now comes the electrical start. On a gokart that size, believe me, kids will crank it constantly and those key ignitions won't last. Remember, the more electrical stuff you have on them, the more that can go wrong. Keep it simple and sweet, keep it rugged and durable with proven designs. Most of all, unlike the Trailmaster Company, American Sportworks is not a fly-by-night import operation. American Sportworks have been around since 1959 with a proven track record. Three years from now people will say, "Trailmaster what???" Why? They are just an import company importing Chinese made Gokarts. Click on the link to get to the Trailmaster site before you come to us. When you come to us, prepare yourself for quality. For our competitors who say they will stand behind their units, that is necessary--to pick up falling parts, to help push your children around when it gives out, and also to help you push it in for repairs. WE STAND ALONGSIDE OURS. WE DON'T STAND BEHIND OURS JUST TO GET DUST IN OUR EYES!
The Hammerhead (Our Competitor)--Oh My!!! The name sounds frightening and denotes something of being mean and tough. But the fact of the matter is it is everything but that. Google and see the reviews and complaints. Hammerhead started in 1997. I guess imitation is best form of flattery when you are competing against an American company like American Sportworks. Their products are Chinese imports and the designs are not rugged and have a inferior flare to them. Just compare and you will see. Their little Shark Model for kids is no comparison to our American Sportworks Black Widow model. Again like the Trailmaster for kids, I guess they were designed for a two year old in mind because the average 5 year old would be terribly uncomfortable in them. Kids will outgrow them in no time and then you are stuck with a $1000 piece of scrap metal. Two youngs kids cannot sit side by side in these units. Think I'm joking, click on the link below to get to their site and look at the youngster sitting in one. His knees are in his chest.
And as far as parts go, you may be in a bind. Before you purchase one, pretend as if you already have one and you need parts. Give the company a call, send them an email or whatever. See if you can get anyone to answer and just see if they return the email. Well, don't hold your breath. We have had a couple of their units in for service in the recent past and could not get parts for them as we have been a service provider for Chinese Recreational Vehicles for over 12 years we get a lot of brands in and have more knowledge of them than the majority of all the other dealers combined. I guess there is a reason why we don't carry "The Hammerhead."
